![]() Ask to know more about Giacco and Osryas experiments, then tell. I can still side with Raedric either way, but it feels weird ignoring the Bleak Walker-specific dialogue that initiates combat with him.ĮDIT: The copied and pasted content needed a bit of formatting. Either the game would have to make a hard decision on when you're exploring and when you're not before allowing you to move faster, or there'd have to be an implicit reason not to explore with the faster speed (such as 'you are super noisy, tromping around like that, and you're drawing a lot of attention from hungry/hostile things'). Ask how he knew you were here on behalf of Kolsc, then tell Nedmar youre here to face Redric. Traveled off to find Kolsc, had the journal updated as I arrived to Magrans Fork, went inside the house and found only Garricone inside, but Kolsc wasn. Then nothing happened, and the Quest went on un-updated. I know that this is hardly game-breaking or story-breaking, but I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me work around this. Talked to Raedric, promised to go talk to Kolsc, but before I went there, I had a change of heart, and went nowhere, and killed Raedric. Is this just bad info from the Wiki site, or am I doing something wrong? I've also tried ignoring Esternwood completely and headed straight for Defiance Bay with a Cruel disposition, but I haven't heard anything about a bounty on Kolsc's head. Let's Play of Pillars of Eternity, a classic tabletop-type RPG and spiritual successor to the original Baldur's Gate made by Obsidian as their first major in. Even with a bad reputation in Gilded Vale, Kolsc always approaches me on my way to Raedric's Hold and dumps his quest on me (thus causing the awkward dialogue with Raedric that I'm trying to avoid as a Bleak Walker). Now I've tried both of these solutions, and neither seems to work. Kolsc is an usurper, mortal, probably will side with priest and kill animancer (she used prisoners/his comrades for experiments). Then you might hunt him at Magran's Fork. Foelmar is at a small camp right by the starting point. This is a fairly open map, with scattered points of interest. The area is located just south of Gilded Vale, with the shrine marking a crossroads leading further towards the Black Meadow and Anslog's Compass. Gilded Vale is ruled by Lord Raedric, who resides in the keep beyond the Esternwood. A stretch of wilderness notable for the local shrine to Magran. Lord of a Barren Land is a side quest in Pillars of Eternity. If you avoid him and have a Goldpact Knights background or Cruel disposition, you will be informed at Defiance Bay that Raedric VII put is a price on his head. Magran's Fork is a wilderness area in Pillars of Eternity. If you infiltrated and made a deal with Osrya you may tell him that you are on his side.If you avoided Kolsc and either infiltrated/fought your way through the hold he will act surprised to see you. Hey guys! So according to the PoE Wiki site, there's a way to side with Raedric without first siding with Kolsc (long story short, I'm having the same problem Luckmann had with the Lord of a Barren Land quest from an RP perspective here's the link to his post a few years back - ). Anyway, I've been doing some digging and apparently there's a way to avoid that awkwardness.
